Avv. Iacopo Destri

He graduated with highest honors from the Università degli Studi di Pisa with a thesis entitled “European Union Authority in matters of Healthcare Protection“, supervised by professor and attorney at law Antonio M. Calamia. After beginning his career at Michael Best & Friedrich in Chicago, Illinois (USA), he worked for several years in the American law firm Baker &McKenzie. He has also held the position of Italian manager for Brand Protection for Cisco Systems. Subsequently, he joined the IP/IT department of Dewey &LeBoeuf Law Firm in Milan followed by a collaboration with Orsingher Avvocati Associati in Milan. He specializes in intellectual and industrial property, technology and information, unfair competition, advertising, internet, e-commerce and entertainment law. He also has extensive experience in commercial contract law, bankruptcy law, personal information protection law and sports law. He counts among his clients many leading operators, both in Italy and abroad, in the world of communications and media. He has been a lecturer for the Master of Strategies for the Business of Sports organized by the Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia, the Master in Fashion and Design Business (MAFED) at the Università Bocconi di Milano, the Master in Economics for Lawyers and Public Managers at the Università degli Studi di Pisa, the Master in Law and Business at the Business School of Il Sole24Ore. He has spoken at conferences in the areas of IP/IT law and financial sector. He has contributed to several specialist publications in the IP/IT (including the World Technology Law Conference & Annual Meeting organized by ItechLaw in San Francisco in 2011). He was recently a guest speaker together with Jay Elliot, former vice-president of Apple, at the “Innovation A Change in Healthcare” conference organized by the Italian National Research Council in Pisa. He is FIKBMS’ Federal Prosecutor and vice-chairman of the International Financial Litigation Network. He is also a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property.

Avv. Arianna Ferrari

She graduated with a law degree from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano with a thesis entitled “Implementation of the Directive on Deceptive Advertising in various European Union Countries“, under the supervision of Professor Adriano Vanzetti. After gaining experience in London at the Chiomenti Law Firm and the Pritchard Englefield Law Firm, she began working with the Fusi Testa Cottafavi Canu Law Firm and thereafter, with the Daffarra & Partners Law Firm. From 2006 until 2012 she collaborated with the Biletta e Mazzotti Law Firm. She possesses vast legal experience in the areas of advertising, intellectual and industrial property, involving both litigation and extrajudicial issues. She assists leading businesses providing legal consultancy and representation in the areas of commercial and corporate law.

Avv. Luciano Daffarra

He was the founder of Studio Legale Daffarra, d’Addio & Partners where he held the position of senior partner from 1990 until 2013. After a short experience at DDR Trust in 2014, where he was founding partner, he joined C-Lex in February 2015. Before starting his practice in 1990, starting 1978 he was in-house counsel of various leading multinational companies, both in the industrial and the media sectors. In his professional role he oversaw the legal affairs of various companies, artists and professionals in the field of media and communication. From 1994 up to 2006 he held the position of Secretary General of FAPAV- Federation Against Audio-Visual Piracy and currently he maintains a consultancy relationship with this association and the Motion Picture Association (MPA).  He is a former member of the Permanent Consultative Committee for Copyright at the Council of Ministers, and he is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy. In his capacity in the above positions, he has cooperated with various government offices in relation to copyright matters in Italy, Europe and the United States. He regularly holds lectures and courses on intellectual property issues. He is a founding partner of AGICA (Association of the Lawyers in the Cinema and Audiovisual Industry) and a member of the Executive Committee of LES Italy (Licensing Executives Society). He is also a member of ALAI (International Literary and Artistic Association).

Avv. Veronica Navarra

She graduated with highest honors from the University L.U.I.S.S. Guido Carli with a thesis on Project Financing. She obtained her PHD in European and Italian Constitutional Law at Università degli Studi di Teramo with a thesis on the Precautionary Principle in UE Law supervised by professor and attorney at law Professor Stelio Mangiameli and she earned a Master on “Operators of Public Contracts” at Carlo Jemolo Regional Institute for Juridical Studies in Rome.

While at university, she obtained the professional qualification of “Labour Consultant” and began working in this field. After graduation, she worked in the law firm of Professor Paolo Stella Richter adding administrative law to her previous experience in labour law. For fifteen years she has provided legal assistance to private and public companies, as well as, public administrations on issues of public contracts and labour law while practicing at Navarra-Vaccarella Law Firm and then at her own law firm. She possesses vast legal experience in the areas of administrative law, notably with regard to public contract law, and labour law.

She lecturers at professional training and continuing education courses at various national universities and certified training agencies in the area of public contracts (Roma Tre University, Legislazione Tecnica, FOIM Fondazione Ordine Ingegneri di Milano, Ordine Ingegneri della Provincia di Roma).

Avv. Giuseppe Vecchio

He graduated in law with honors from the Università degli Studi di Pisa. After beginning his career in the Legal Affairs office of Unicredit S.p.a. in Milan, he became a partner at Calamia & Associati Law Firm in Pisa. His professional specialization is in the areas of banking law, financial instruments, and bankruptcy law. He provides legal assistance and representation both in and out of court to leading Italian banking groups. Avv. Stefano Zonca

He graduated in law from the Università degli Studi di Milano and subsequently attended the Advanced Education Course organized by the Italian Employment Lawyers Association (AGI). After beginning his career in a labor law boutique in Milan, he funded a law firm specialized in employment matters. He joined C-Lex in 2017. He has a ten-year professional experience in providing legal assistance with regards to labor law, social security and agency agreements, representing – both in and out of court matters – entrepreneurs, employees and trade union associations. Avv. Vincenzo Urso

He Graduated with highest honors from the University of Pisa with a thesis in bankruptcy law entitled “The revocation action and the banks: analysis of two concrete cases”, supervised by Professor and attorney at law Francesco Paolo Luiso. In May 2003, he started the law practice in Milan, dealing mainly with Intellectual Property law litigations under the supervision of Professor and Attorney at law Giuseppe Sena. From 2006 to 2010 he held the role of Associate at the Sena e Tarchini Law Firm in Milan dealing with trademark law, patent law, unfair competition, advertising law, intellectual property with a prevalent specialization in the field of copyright and protection of design. From 2010 to 2019, becoming Senior Associate, he specialized in the field of patents, models, designs and company know-how protection. The experience acquired over the years has allowed him to assist multinational companies, leaders in the mechanical engineering, automotive and motorcycle sector, dealing with cases that represent real leading cases of IP matter. In 2019 he held the role of Partner of the CBC Milan Law Firm as Head of Intellectual Property Department, taking care, in addition to the above mentioned activities, also the direction and coordination of trademark and patent attorneys and engineers specialized in the filing of industrial property rights . In 2020 he joined C-Lex as of-counsel. Since 2010 he has been a contract professor at the University of Brescia, managing lectures on industrial and copyright law. He has experience as a masters and professional courses professor and as speaker at seminars and conferences in the Intellectual property field.
